Giving Tree Media started as a local service business consultancy with one big belief: the best thing a marketing company can do for a service business is help it show up in the Google Map Pack.

So Matthew got to work managing Google Business Profiles, improving local visibility, designing websites, doing SEO, and answering the questions real customers were already asking. That content-lab curiosity never left. Now the work also includes helping businesses become the answer when people ask AI who to call.

Matthew buys software the way some people buy snacks: frequently, curiously, and rarely one at a time. He tests what works, turns the keepers into useful workflows, and uses AI and software to build cool stuff—and, eventually, multiple economic engines online. One of them is Wayside Travels, his YouTube channel full of educational shorts.
